Way to go Apple. We wonder why horrible, senseless violent crime is so rampant? Maybe the constant viewing of violent behavior in the name of entertainment has SOMETHING to do with it???

Okay, I don't agree with the invasion of privacy issue, but this is very cool - I spent a lot of time yesterday looking up addresses of places I used to live, where friends or family live. Creepy, in a way, but cool.

This law is ridiculous - and if the etailers didn't revolt you can be sure all other states would quickly follow suit. What is needed is a revamp of sales tax law for a digital age. Make up your mind states - but give us a break - find a way to work together to offer a streamlined tax system that won't put an onerous burden on online retailers.

I'd love to hear Red-Gate's thoughts on this development...since they have long offered a third-party (and excellent) SQL Backup tool.

I agree with most of Schonfeld's points. Though I don't *really* have a problem with ISP's throttling some of the BitTorrent resource hogs if it will make life better for 99% of the rest of us. I think he is missing a statement concerning patents. Patents at the least have much too long a lifespan for the digital age.

You're right, I found it. Pretty cool, actually, but I don't like Google's attitude or the idea of not having a choice in the matter.
