I tried it and the layout was absolutely wretched imo. I couldn't see the links easily for what sites were what, and a lot of the fonts were difficult to read. I hesitate to draw the comparison, but they looked like Mac fonts - too small for the space they are in.

I can attest to this - my daughter's high school offers an IB degree, and they are talking about developing a class like this in the Business department. Maybe she'll be able to help me with my area rugs site: http://www.abingdonrugoutlet.com

I was really fan of Gmail, bcoz it introduced many new features (including impressive UI experiences). And also it forced every free email service providers to increase the size limit of the emails that time. :)

A very nice additional from Google. While I don't really use a Gmail account - this feature should become standard across email providers.

Smart move on Sony's part. They are losing the battle to Amazon's Kindle, but moving to an open standard will help them...though it won't be enough. They need to step up their game significantly.

I must say I am a bit shocked. Microsoft giving Apache cash? Isn't that a little like Microsoft giving Apple cash? The Apache Web Server is Microsoft's largest web server competitor!

Okay, I let this one go. It actually could be useful...

@Bink - You can, but they charge like $40/mo. now for that service.
@vogel - Have you purchased the set top box yet? I'm holding out till finances are a bit better...but on my list!

Me and the wife dropped Blockbuster a few months ago because they raised rates and limited the amount of times you could return/pick up in their stores. We didn't want the hassle of having to record when we returned movies to stores. Netflix also had a quicker roundtime when returning movies and has that cool new set top box!

Great site Gabe ! You are very smart.

I still think I'd go with Blockbuster since you can return in store and pick up another in its place.

This is exciting news. I love when applications move modular. It is so much better to have an extensible application rather than one that is a large single mass of code. This not only increases performance but it also reduces surface area for attacks.

Netflix is amazing. This set-top box is the bomb (though its on my wishlist). Somebody better come out of the woodwork or Netflix will have a monopoly on digital distribution within 2-3 years.

Sometimes I wish I could understand the operations of mega-corporations. I look at them and scratch my head. In-store kiosks? Digital downloads is the way of the future. Even Netflix has been much slower on the uptake than they should be...But Blockbuster - look at them. A set-top box for $100 and already thousands of tv and movies available for instant streaming. Blockbuster's death knell is ringing, if they can't get on top of this market and fast. I'm confused as to their strategy.

I read an article I think on cnn.com or somewhere similar that said girls are on par with boys as far as math testing goes.

Cool, a new way to waste my time. Though I'm sure IN would rather me edit new articles.
It looks similar to all the new iphone physics games.

Just wait till MMS catches on more and then we get Videos catching on like they do in the Asian countries.

I found this article to be quite thought-provoking. We seldom think of the cost of our luxuries, or the process involved in the production of them.
