Always excited to hear companies like Skype and Digium are working together - especially as they are two of my favorites.

So often we deal with problems as pressure points. When it causes us pain, we react...Right now this isn't causing us pain (people aren't actively exploiting it). Not saying thats right, just the way it is.

The iphone has the required accessibility factor for the consumer, support for windows mobile would be good and android when it matures. Also supporting iplayer would be a great thing on all formats.

Tenn has some of the nation's weakest privacy laws and some of its most corrupt legislators. For certain, former DemReps Brenda Kaye Turner and Ward Crutchfield made money from invasions of privacy and intelprop theft via a contract of adhesion, signed by a ten-year-old at the behest of an alcoholic father and heroin-addicted stepmother, giving full surveillance rights and in-perpetuity intelprop ownership on the girl, now grown. Remember this when your kids watch "Sabrina, the Teenaged Witch" and "Charmed".
Several media families run TN government and now have not one, but two presidential candidates who dance to their tune, both relatives of a former Fox and NBC CEO. They could well be setting Palin up for her own payouts and utilizing an arranged burglary to cover her hiney.

The "I'm a PC" episode, doesn't seem like a major victory for marketing.

Since I've installed Chrome, my Firefox frequently hangs on javascript code. Odd, but somehow related. Happens on my home laptop and work pc.

lol. Yeah, I use Chrome to watch media (e.g. on Hulu), but nothing else. Its not stable enough yet...but its memory/process isolation makes it lag less when streaming video...Firefox, if I've been surfing for a while, really starts to lag...and usually I don't want to close out all my tabs.

Pretty nifty. These for televisions and computers could be nice. Amplifying their built-in capabilities. Possibilities are endless.

it's funny, the more i use Chrome (for windows), the more unstable it seems to get... crashes a lot more, can't handle sites with flash, hangs every time i close a tab... all that to say, i'm switching back to Firefox

A very interesting purchase, it could do good things for the protocol to push it into the mainstream.

I think Bill Gates may have a future as an actor. Anyways, I think it would be a shame if they canceled a series of commercials before they complete. It seems like the commercials are building to something - how can we find out the conclusion if we are never given it?

I agree with all - very unfair...though for the time being people will continue developing applications for the iPhone. I would add to Arrington's commentary that we can expect more open competitors like Google's Android to eventually force Apple to loosen its vice-like grip, just as Mac OS X and Linux have done to Microsoft with Windows.
