I have to say that I really don't think Mac should be too concerned about these clones. Mac has always had a reputation for being exclusive, and along with this comes a great deal of brand loyalty. People who use macs put there trust not just in the OS, but also in the hardware and design of Apple products. As an avid Apple user myself I can say that I would not settle for any sort of clone, no matter how cheap it is. I've also done a great deal of work on Apple laptops and can say that they are built far better than alot of PC's. Essentially you get what you pay for. So far, the hacked PC emulators of OSX have been full of bugs. If there's one thing Mac has, it's brand loyalty, so I really doubt there will be any significant drop in their sales, and anyone who betrays Mac for a clone doesn't really deserve to own a Mac anyways...

betrays? it's a company dedicated to profits with severe control issues. Microsoft will be a kids tale if Apple ever replaces them.
I really do think MAC clones are inevitable. As technology advances it becomes easier all the time to bypass security with abstract layers or virtualization.
