Via stops making chipsets for Intel, AMD systems
Low power chip maker VIA, has decided to stop producing chipsets for PCs that use Intel and AMD processors. VIA had said it will continue to develop chipsets for its own Nano chip and will pullout of the chipset market as it finds the market more challenging for third parties to license the necessary technology and develop chipsets.
