Sony PlayStation Site Hacked With 'Scareware'
Sony PlayStation was among the most recent targets of the SQL attacks that have been rampant, especially since January of this year. Researchers at the SANS Internet Storm Center and elsewhere point out that the reason for this is an automated tool that searches for sites that are running vulnerable software and then attacks them. In the instance of the Sony PlayStation, users receive a bogus message warning them that they have been infected with malware.
